Newshore, a technology consultancy firm serving the airline industry, has been selected Cobalt Airlines, a new generation low cost airlines based in Cyprus, to implement and support its internet booking engine.
The agreement between Newshore and Cobalt includes the development and implementation of an internet booking engine based on Bravo’s Avantik Passenger Service System (PSS) and one year of technical support.
Newshore's expertise in delivering technology solutions for the airline industry in a fast and efficient way will facilitate the implementation of the cloud-based Avantik booking engine ahead of Cobalt’s upcoming launch this summer.
Cobalt is a Cyprus’ new national carrier based at Larnaca airport, Cyprus. Founded by an international team of experienced airline professionals, Cobalt will operate a fleet of Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft on a mix of short haul and long haul routes. It aims to make Cyprus a major transit point.
